Is It Possible To Lose Your Sense Of Humour?

I used to be really wacky and funny and make people laugh all the time, but I’ve noticed in the past few years (since I had a run of depression) I’ve changed. I don’t crack jokes so easily, and if I do they’re not as observant and witty as they used to be.
I still find other people funny and can appreciate humour, but I used to write stand-up and now I can’t seem to do it at all! Is there something wrong with me? Will it ever come back?

Why Is It That Hardly Anyone Here In Politics Seems To Have A Sense Of Humour?

I just asked a parody question for a bit of a chuckle about people who think that if you are a conservative Christian, you are automatically a better person then anyone else, when suddenly I get hurled with abuse (or at least statements that can classify). While I’ve grown quite accustomed to it, what gives? Haven’t you people got your humour chips inserted?

Has Anyone Ever Encountered A German With A Sense Of Humour?

I am thinking about doing a one year work placement in Berlin, I hear the Germans don’t have a sense of humour, is this true? Has anyone ever encountered a german person with a sense of humour. I don’t mean slap stick humour or derision based joking because that’s just SIMPLE humour. I don’t think i could cope a year with fake laughter. Can anyone answer this question, thanks!

Why Do Answerers On Yahoo Seem To Totally Lack A Sense Of Humour?

I can’t believe how some really stupid but funny questions get serious replies from people. Have we all lost our sense of humour when we most need it? And if you’re one of those that gives sensible answers to
what are obviously daft questions – why? Come on you know who you are!

What’s It Called When People Cover Up Their Anger With Humour?

I’ve experienced this a lot lately. Someone who is clearly angry with me, but afraid to say exactly what they think so mask it with an attempt at humour.
For example, “You’re an a**hole. Haha, just kidding.”
Crap example but it’s hard to explain. I thought it was passive aggressive but the definition of that doesn’t really equate.
Thanks.

What Is A Humour Bypass? Is It Anything Like A Heart Bypass?

Does anyone know what a humour bypass is, as I can’t seem to find it in any medical books. How would you recognise someone suffering from the symptoms so you could get them to hospital in time to get one of these bypasses? Can you get it on the medical card or do you have to go private. Any details please.
